1 – Visiting Kragga Kamma Game Park
Do you want the chance to see amazing animals like giraffes, elephants and rhinos up close and personal? Of course you do! This stunning reserve allows you to witness all these and more in their natural habitat. And at only £12, how could you possibly miss this?
2 – Scuba Diving In Thunderbolt Reef
If you’ve always wanted to try scuba diving, why not do it here? This reef is named after the magnificent shipwreck of the HMS Thunderbolt that can be viewed during a dive of the reef. You could be swimming alongside colourful fish, playful dolphins and even huge whale sharks!
3 – Boat Trips
This offers the chance to see the marine life from a slightly drier spot! You can relax on the deck and watch dolphins living in the beautiful waters off the coast of South Africa.
4 – Visiting Market Square
The centre of Port Elizabeth’s bustling town, Market Square offers beautiful architecture that has been around since the 1800s. Make sure to check out City Hall, the Public Library and the bell tower!
5 – Seeing Bloukrans Bridge
Otherwise known as the Paul Sauer bridge, the Bloukrans bridge boasts stunning views over a truly magnificent gorge. Plenty of restaurants are situated nearby, offering you lunch with a perfect view. For the brave at heart, you could even bungee jump from the bridge – if not you could always just watch!

Definitely a must for any car lovers, this museum is home to everything from Formula One cars to the classic VW camper van! Explore the history of VW through interactive exhibits, real, full sized cars and state of the art technology.
7 – Walking Around Victoria Park
With landscaped gardens, tranquil lily ponds and a wealth of gorgeous birds, this is the perfect spot for a gentle stroll and a picnic. A great spot for a more relaxed day in Port Elizabeth.

Another chance to get close to some more adorable animals! This time on a smaller scale, with creatures like alpacas, tortoises and goats wandering about for you to pet and feed.
